Nikeratos was a young Spartan man who lived during the 5th century BCE.
As part of his agoge, Nikeratos was sent to the Spartan training territory with his companion Hebontes to prove themselves. While there, they were attacked by wolves. Though Nikeratos survived, Hebontes was badly wounded, and succumbed to his injuries soon after.[1]
