In 1582, the Kakushiba ikki members Fujibayashi Naoe and Yasuke followed the mysterious shinobi after witnessing him kill a samurai and confronted him at the hall. The man told them that he was getting rid of these corrupt samurai, who were butchering and robbing the locals. Asking where his blade came from, the pair prompted the shinobi to remain opposed and to challenge them in a fight. However, the pair bested the shinobi, who offered his life for theirs to end.[1]
Naoe and Yasuke again asked about the blade but the shinobi stated he would tell them after they dealt with the head samurai at Jyujiin Courtyard.
