Andrea Meloni is an Italian comic book artist and colorist. He currently works as an art director for Studio Arancia in Turin.[1] He was the colorist for both volumes of Assassin's Creed: Bloodstone.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Early life and career[edit | edit source]
Andrea Meloni's first credited graphic novel he worked on as a colorist was the French bande dessinée La nouvelle Guerre des boutons released in 2011. He rose to prominence from his work on Ils ont fait l'Histoire a serialized adaptation of European history first released in 2015.[1] He worked as the colorist on the volumes; Elisabeth Ière (2016), César (2017), Cléopâtre (2019), Tallyrand (2021), and Mussolini (2022).[2]
Assassin's Creed[edit | edit source]
The first volume of Assassin's Creed: Bloodstone was released in March 2019, and in a review by Access the Animus, Meloni's use of colour was praised and fitted the tone of the portrayed panels.[3] Once the second volume released in October, another Access the Animus review again praised his colouring of Ennio Bufi's linework, although the roughness of it was criticised.[4]
