Maria Gurley was a political agitator who lived in Albany, New York during the Seven Years' War.
Her influence was considered to be such a threat that the Colonial Assassins planned to kill her as an example to the local population. However, she was protected by the Assassin-turned-Templar Shay Cormac.[1]
