Manetho was an Egyptian priest and historian who lived during the 3rd century BCE. He was known for being the author of the work Aegyptiaca or History of Egypt, which contained the chronology of the reigns of the pharaohs of Egypt. In his work, Manetho documented the reign of Sneferu, who ordered the Meidum Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, the Red Pyramid built to hide an artifact in each of them.
