Malcolm, also known as The Connection, was a man seen in a fabricated vision of the future implanted into Joey by the Isu Vejovis.[1]

In the vision, Malcolm approached Sam, saying that Sam did not have to fear him before raising Vejovis' dagger and causing all of the people of their tribe to fall to their knees. Malcolm asked if Sam had repented of his sins, to which Sam answered that he did not know what he had done. Malcolm asked the gathered people what the community did to traitors, and on receiving the answer "kill them!", raised the dagger to murder Sam before the vision ended.[2]
