The Lost Histories was a volume of Herodotus' seminal Histories that was lost to time, before its rediscovery in 2018 by Layla Hassan. It was found buried alongside the Spear of Leonidas.
In it, Herodotus detailed his travels during the Peloponnesian War and his encounters with the legendary Spartan misthios Kassandra. Layla had Victoria Bibeau read it and supplement her Animus session with information from it in order to cover gaps in the degraded DNA leading to lower simulation accuracy.[1]
