The Lighthouse of the Father of Ajax was a bonfire place on the southernmost coast of the Isle of Salamis in Attika, Greece. It was dedicated to Telamon, the father of the legendary Greek hero Ajax.
During the Peloponnesian War the lighthouse was visited by the Spartan misthios Kassandra, who was searching for the golden feather belonging to Ajax. There, she discovered clues that hinted at the tomb of Ajax as the feather's location.[1]
