Kuruk

Kuruk was a Pawnee warrior who was exiled from his homeland when his elder brother became chieftain of his tribe.[1] Traveling east, he eventually offered his services as a warrior to either the Assassins or the Templars; his exact allegiance, as reported by the hacking collective Erudito centuries later, is lost to history. Nevertheless, whichever side he had fought for, Erudito noted that he had been little more than a "grunt" and did not play a pivotal role in the Assassin-Templar War.[2]

Kuruk was reputed for his tremendous strength and hot temper, both of which made him a ferocious enemy to contend with. Although he was an enforcer, his vocation also included weapon craftsmanship, an art he excelled at and indulged in as a hobby. Accordingly, he designed his own personal weapons that proved quite effective in battle, among which included a war club.[1][2]

In 2012, under the title of the Bear, his genetic memories were used as an Animi Avatar by the Templar company Abstergo Entertainment to influence the general public via the Animus games console.[1]
