Kittos was a pirate who worked for Xenia during the Peloponnesian War. He was the older brother of Galateia, who was also in Xenia's employ.
At some point, Kittos sailed alongside his sister, Anaximander and Iaira in the waters surrounding Achaia, carrying a coffer belonging to their leader. They came under attack from an army faction, who eliminated many of the crew. While Galateia was able to escape, Kittos, Anaximander, and Iaira were captured and taken to the Olouros Fortress. Kittos and the pirates were later freed by the misthios Kassandra, whom Xenia had sent to recover the coffer and the crew.[1]
