The King of Thieves ran his operations from atop a tower in Kaldstad and had convinced or bribed jötnar warriors into guarding the area from where he sold weapons, runes, and other equipment. Despite the dangerous route to his tower, he regularly came into contact and conducted business with the Æsir lord Havi, who had come to revive his son Baldr from Hel.[1]
