The Kephisos' Sanctuary Ruins were all that remained of a sanctuary dedicated to the river-god Kephisos by the 5th century BCE, located within the Valley of Judgment in Korinthia, Greece.
Nearby was the massive statue of the head of the mythical Medusa, face twisted in anger, snakes poised to attack.[1]
During the Peloponnesian War the misthios Kassandra explored the ruins, finding that guards of the Cult of Kosmos had set up a camp therein. She slew them and stole their valuables.[1]
