The Karlskirche (English: St. Charles Church) is a church in Vienna, Austria.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

In 1854, former soldier Simeon Price climbed and stood atop the Karlskirche to view Vienna. There, Price contemplated whether he could trust his mentor, Oscar Kane, with Ada Lovelace's notes and if he could trust his own instincts. Nevertheless, he soon descended the church to meet with Pierrette Arnaud about Ada's notebook.[2]
