The vantage point of Istiaia Peak

The Istiaia Peak was a high point located in the hills of Artemision Point on the island of Euboea, Greece.

During the Peloponnesian War, the misthios Kassandra climbed all the way up to the peak to take in the view.[1]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

The name of the peak may be a reference to Istiaia, a town in Euboea which was named after the ancient town of Histiaia.
