Ipthos was a Greek man living in the city of Cyrene in Cyrenaica under Roman Republic's rule during the 1st century BCE.

An acquaintance of Simonides, they joined the party held at the villa of the Cyrenean magistrate Leander. The following day Simonides fondly reminisced about Ipthos losing his toga at the party.[1]

As the Medjay Bayek of Siwa was asked to investigate Leander, he infiltrated Leander's villa, and found a note mentioning a payment of 2,000 drachma made to Ipthos for "services."[1]
