Invergordon is a town and port in the Easter Ross area of Ross and Cromarty, Highland, Scotland.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1931, while stationed at Invergordon, a number of British Royal Navy warships went on strike over pay cuts for the sailors.[1] The crew of HMS Hood, led by Marc Gorm, was among those who took part in the mutiny. His brother, Eddie, was charged with ending the mutiny, but refused to execute his brother and was dishonorably discharged.[2]
