The House of Life was a makeshift clinic in the ruins of an old temple located in Siwa. During the 1st century BCE, it was used by the healer Rabiah to provide treatment to the residents of the village.
Around 48 BCE, Rabiah and her patients were driven out of the temple by Medunamun's soldiers, despite her having paid the local nomarch to use the temple. The Medjay Bayek, who had recently returned to Siwa, helped her to eliminate the soldiers, thus freeing the temple for her use again.[1] At the same time, Bayek also found a Papyrus Puzzle in the temple.[2]
