Hathor Cistern

Hathor Cistern was an underwater reservoir beneath the Temple of Hathor in Memphis, Egypt.

History[edit | edit source]

In 48 BCE, the Medjay Bayek of Siwa ventured below the Temple of Hathor and into the cistern. There, he inspected the area and looted two chests he found.[1]
