Erica Nichols is a Templar and employee of Abstergo Industries working on a press-related function.

On 10 December 2010, Erica received an email from Harland Hammerstein, wherein he expressed concerns about a security breach within the Animus Project, stating that some blueprints were missing despite the project leads Warren Vidic's assurances, questioning the significance of "Project Siren" and its connection to Subject 17, and suspecting Warren or Lucy of involvement in the leak.
