Epainetos was an Olympic champion and a charioteer or horse rider in ancient Greece.

He was mentioned as a "true servant of the gods in Olympia" in a note found by the Spartan misthios Kassandra during the Peloponnesian War. Epainetos was further mentioned as racing in the name of the Greek god Poseidon.[1]
