Albert Arnold "Al" Gore, Jr. (born 1948) was the 45th Vice President of the United States, serving from 1993 to 2001 under President Bill Clinton. He was also the Democratic Party nominee for President in the 2000 United States presidential election.

Biography[edit | edit source]

Gore and his campaign had the Assassins' backing, but he lost to George W. Bush, a pawn of the Templars. A contributing factor to Gore's loss was the Templar sleeper agent Daniel Cross, who infiltrated the Assassins and killed "the Mentor", dealing a great blow to the Brotherhood and their support of Gore.[1]

Following the Great Purge that wiped out most of the Assassins, the Templars were free to sway the election in their favor, ensuring Bush's win. The public was thus informed that Gore had won the popular vote but lost the election to Bush. Secretly, however, this was the result of the Templars manipulating Florida's electoral college results.[1]
