The entrance of Dibutades Cave

The Dibutades Cave was a cave in the Kraneion Plains in Korinthia, Greece. It could be found just outside the boundries of the Port of Kechries.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place and claimed some treasures.[1]

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The name of the cave references the sculptor Butades, otherwise known as Dibutades, who flourished in around 600 BCE.
