The Coteaux de la Seine

The Coteaux de la Seine (English: Hillside of the Seine) was a road that lay beside the Sequana River in western Amienois, West Francia.

History[edit | edit source]

In the late 880s, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan followed a letter of a challenge from Herbert du Lilibonne she found at Sigfred's Forward Camp.[1] Above the road of the Coteaux de la Siene, she found a muddy pen and saw Herbert waiting for a challenger. Once in sight, he challenged Eivor to fight, though she quickly defeated and killed him.[2]
