The Coppergate Market was a market street in York, England, during the Medieval period. At its height, the market housed a vast variety of merchants ranging from craftsmen to weavers and glassmakers. In addition to merchants selling good froms wood to bones, slaves were also sold at the market.[1]

In 874, Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan strolled through Coppergate Market and searched for any transactions or mentions of the dockmaster Grigorii.
