According to the tutorial entry, the maximum score is 6, but this is assumed to be erroneous because a score of 4 is the midpoint of the meter, a supposed score of 5 appears to be two points ahead of 4, and a score of 6 appears to be four points ahead. None of the weapons in the main game have stats of 5/8 or 7/8. Instead, level 5 weapons have stats that jump from 4/8 to 6/8 and 8/8 respectively, and so it seems for simplicity, the manual designates scores of 6/8 and 8/8 as 5/6 and 6/6. This is in spite of the fact that the interval between these scores are visibly twice that of the intervals between lower scores such as 2 to 3 and 3 to 4. The error is reinforced by the presence of weapons (i.e. the [[Guillotine Gun]]s) in the ''[[Dead Kings]]'' DLC which do have scores of 5/8 and 7/8.</ref>

Ceremonial partisan

The ceremonial partisan was a gilded partisan that served as one of the deadliest polearms of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins during the French Revolution.

Description[edit | edit source]

As a partisan, the ceremonial partisan consisted of a long shaft mounted by a large spearhead whose base curved outwards as protrusions on either side.[1] These protrusions, flanking either side of the spearpoint, served to parry sword strikes.[2] Aside from this, the weapon also incorporated a miniature double-sided battle axe embedded in the shaft just beneath the spearhead. Gilded and ornate, the partisan was ostensibly designed for ceremonial purposes. It was, however, one of the deadliest weapons in Paris during the French Revolution, with only the Pike Hammer employed by the Assassins matching the defense it offered and the keenness of its blade.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

During the French Revolution, the ceremonial partisan was among the most powerful weapons in the arsenal of the Parisian Brotherhood of Assassins. At this time in Paris, it was valued at 125,000.[1]
