Caius Cestius (fl. 1st century BCE) was a Roman magistrate and a member of the Septemviri Epulonum who lived during the late 1st century BCE.

Between 18 and 12 BCE, he ordered the construction of a pyramid in the Antico District that would serve as his tomb.[1] This tomb also concealed the entrance to a Lair of Romulus.[2]
