Susanoo's Torrent was a yumi named for the mythological storm kami Susanoo-no-Mikoto that Yasuke obtained in 1582. That year, Yasuke and fellow Kakushiba ikki member Fujibayashi Naoe were approached by Genpaku, who asked the pair to eliminate a group of Oda clan soldiers who were impersonating yamabushi and killing civilians in Yamato. Investigating Mitarai Valley, they confronted one of these imposters and assassinated him, retrieving the bow from his personal effects.^[1]
