Evie and Jacob Frye at the station

Bishopsgate station[1] was a major railway terminus in the Whitechapel borough of London. Built as Shoreditch station in 1840, it was renamed Bishopsgate in 1846 in order to promote commuter tourism. The station was ultimately destroyed by a fire in 1964.[2]

In 1868, Bishopsgate station served as the arrival point for the Assassins Jacob and Evie Frye when they first traveled to London, and subsequently became the home station for their Train Hideout once Whitechapel was captured by the Rooks.[3]
