Roxana was a Korinthian hetaera who lived during the 5th century BCE.
Biography[edit | edit source]
Working under Anthousa, Roxana followed with dread the rise of the Monger, watching as his power spread in Korinth. Like her 'sisters', Roxana tried to avoid the thug, but she was caught along with Erinna, another hetaera.[1]
Taken to the Monger's warehouse to await their fates, Roxana and Erinna were saved by the fortunate arrival of the Spartan misthios Kassandra and the general Brasidas. Once freed, Roxana and Erinna helped Kassandra and Brasidas kill the Monger.[1]
Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]
Roxana is a character who only appears in the novelization of Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, though her namesake does play a part in the game.
