You are correct of course in stating that the Assassin Brotherhood were centuries ahead of their time in social and cultural progression, and so the issue of sexism would not be apparent. Well, Ubisoft hasn't shunned religion in the past, but working in Biblical events could work out well, such notable individuals such as Moses for instance, who held a staff blessed by God, parted the Red Sea. Perhaps the staff within the AC universe could be a piece of Eden. The only staff I'm familiar with though is the Ankh, and that's associated with resurrection. As for the Pharoah, he was not named, but the Bible was written over a period of 2,600 years if I recall, and done so during an age when language and writing had been invented, and in use. The events of Exodus however are spread apart by decades.
