I'm pretty sure the child labour will be in there. I think Ubisoft Quebec is very much trying to avoid that trap - they've specifically said they did not want to use resources to create a fancy demo that ends up not making it into the game.
I'm pretty sure the child labour will be in there. It'd be a difficult subject to dodge, especially since it was so prevalent during the Industrial era.
