The Shark Bay

Shark Bay was a bay in Vineyard Canyon on the island Lesbos, Greece. Found on the eastern side of the island, the bay served as home to several shipwrecks as well as numerous sharks, which gave the bay its name.

During the Peloponnesian War, the Spartan misthios Kassandra explored the place.[1]
