Sauroter

The Sauroter was a mighty spear with gilt, jagged tip as well as a similar spike at the back end of it.

The spear was made available to the Spartan misthios Kassandra via an Animus modification by the Assassin Layla Hassan, who relived the former's memories.[1]

Description
To add insult to injury is to create the wound and then twist the golden spearhead while it's still inside.

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

Σαυρωτήρ (sauroter) is Greek for 'lizard-killer', and it means the spike at the back end of a spear by which it could be propped on the ground.
