imported>Sol Pacificus Appreciate the attempt to rephrase so as not to plagiarize, but the revision sounded awkward. The actual meaning in the mission entry seems to be less that Galway was thriving from trade in and of itself but more that international trade is the source of its thriving (i.e. it needs it). |

Galway is a city in the province of Connacht, Ireland.[1]
History[edit | edit source]
In the early 18th century, Galway was the principal Irish port for trading with Spain and France, and it depended on this international commerce to flourish.[2] To take advantage of Galway's healthy economy, the Welsh pirate Edward Kenway traded tobacco and cocoa with its merchants.[2][3]
