Theodora Doukaina Komnene Palaiologina (Greek: Θεοδώρα Δούκαινα Κομνηνή Παλαιολογίνα; c. 1240 – 4 March 1303), known simply as Theodora Palaiologina, was Empress consort to the Byzantine Emperor Michael VIII Palaiologos.

Sometime between 1286 and 1304, Theodora erected a church on the site of an existing church, dedicating it to John the Baptist.[1]
