The Raven Clan Set was a set of armor worn by the Viking shieldmaiden Eivor Varinsdottir of the Raven Clan during the Viking expansion. Usually worn by Raven Clan warriors when on raids, Eivor was given a basic set after joining the raiding party of her clan.[1]

On December 872, it was stripped from her after she was captured by Kjotve the Cruel, with him claiming its helmet and Rikiwulf taking the rest of the outfit with him, along with her father's axe. After freeing herself from the vikings of the Wolf Clan, Eivor killed Rikiwulf in Avaldsnes and freed a number of her captive clansmen whom he had intended to execute.[2] Later, she defeated and killed Kjotve the Cruel in a holmgang during an assault to his clan's main fortress, looting his corpse and finding the missing helmet from the set among his possessions.[3]

Eivor held onto the set when she joined other Raven Clan members in leaving Norway for better prospects in England.[4] There, she found sufficient funds and resources to upgrade and adorn the armor at the hands of the blacksmith Gunnar, increasing its defense against weapons while also displaying finer craftsmanship. The Viking would use the outfit during her time as jarlskona of the clan's reesidence of Ravensthorpe.[1]
