Trivia
*Even though the mosque is called Sinan Pasha Mosque in Assassin's Creed, this is historically incorrect. The mosque was built in 1590 during Damascus' Ottoman era and its in-game appearance greatly differs from the real look of the mosque. However, the Mosque of Basal used to be at the same place before the construction of the Sinan Pasha Mosque. The mosque shown in Assassin's Creed is therefore most likely supposed to be the Mosque of Basal, only with its modern name.
*Though Damascus has 3 mosques with Pasha on their names (Murad Pasha Mosque, Damascus, Sinan Pasha Mosque (Damascus) and Darwish Pasha Mosque, all three are Ottoman era mosques, built during the 16th century. <!-- [I cannot confirm this part of the trivia point that existed here, so I'm commenting it out for the time being:
*A view point is atop the mosque's minaret.
