Squero di San Trovaso

The Squero di San Trovaso is a small square located in Venice, Italy, used as a boatyard to build and repair gondolas during the Renaissance.

History[edit | edit source]

In 1486, the Assassin Ezio Auditore da Firenze visited the square together with Sister Teodora and Antonio de Magianis during the Carnevale, mingling among the performers and citizens who filled the square.[1] The square was also the place wherein he participated in several Carnevale games to win the Golden Mask.[2][3][4][5]

Cristina Vespucci was also visiting the Carnevale with her husband, Manfredo Soderini. Still in love with her, Ezio lured her to a nearby alleyway to meet.[6]

Behind the scenes[edit | edit source]

In Assassin's Creed II, Carnevale performers remain in the square even after the celebrations have ended.
