To Get The Sword:

You must be at least at sequence 6 in order to obtain the mission on the gamestop edition of ac3, to find the sword go to the harbor master, once on the map the mission should be south on some islands which contains the mayan temple where the sword is the prize for completing the mission. After the mission you will need to visit the general shop to equipped your new blade.

Captain Kidd's Sawtooth Cutlass was a serrated sword originally owned by Captain William Kidd. It was acquired by the Assassin Ratonhnhaké:ton in 1774 from a Mayan ruin at Cerros.
