Camp Nisi

Camp Nisi was a military compound located next to a watchtower in the northern edge of Herakleion Nome in Egypt.

In 48 BCE, it was overseered by a captain named Unas who, on the orders of Pothinus, a member of the Order of the Ancients, established the camp to keep track of the pharaoh Cleopatra's movements during her time of residence in Herakleion in 48 BCE.
