The Jackal's Path was an altered representation of a fragmented genetic memory.

The cultist we targeted in the Haueris temple turned out to be nothing but a decoy. Medunamun was not there. But, we are not lost. Scouts among the Hidden Ones have tracked this Sect of the Ibis Reborn into the White Desert, where they have delved into what seems to be a lost, underground tomb.
We must give chase and catch Medunamun before he achieves his goal, whatever it may be. We must also be vigilant. His new followers are fanatically devoted to him, and will oppose us however they can.

The Hidden Ones bypassed the sect's guards and reached the tomb entrance in the White Desert.
