Flag Collection was a virtual representation of one of Altaïr Ibn-La'Ahad's genetic memories, relived by Desmond Miles in 2012 through the Animus.

Altaïr met with an informer, who offered to share information on Talal, in exchange for collecting several Masyaf flags.
Dialogue[edit | edit source]
Altaïr approached the informant, who offered him aid in exchange for a favor.
- Informant: Is this the great Altaïr before me? What an honor. You must be here for a very important mission; maybe I could help you. I had been eavesdropping and I have learned much. However, I have erred. I had some Masyaf flags to deliver to the Bureau leader, but I lost them when attacked by thugs. Could you find them for me? I must be back to my Mentor before he returns from the market, so you must be fast as the wind.
Altaïr could talk to the informant again before collecting the flags.
- Informant: Oh Master, I don't think you are finished yet. Demonstrate the skill you are renowned for. I have heard you are as fast as the wind.
Altaïr collected the flags from the surrounding area, and returned to the informant.

Altaïr learned that Talal had many men loyal to him, all of whom would sacrifice themselves to protect him.
