Technically-speaking, they also still existed even with only Wang Yangming & Shao Jun left although from her POV, of course she was working to revive it. Dynasty is being vague about Assassin & Hidden Ones connection atm but Chapter 34 made it clear that the Five Great Assassins are considered true Assassins, not just "proto".
