Signature - How to!

Het 'R! It was driving me crazy too, been trying it out for days with no luck, so what I did was when I saw Rayne trying out his new signature on the recent wiki activity page I clicked to see the change and found and it showed me his signature code. So I copied the basic code then changed it to suit my preferance such as my username, the font I wanted and the colour, then put it into the custom signature box in the preferances section. Here is mine for example Sick-Steen - just click recent wiki activity to see the code itself, Feel free to copy it and enter you own preferances where you want. Just google 'Web colour chart' to get the colour codes, Hope this helps! Sick-steeN 00:58, January 18, 2011 (UTC)

You could have a look at fonts in microsoft word or just google font types. And when you enter the name of the font have it in lower case. About it not linking, im not sure about that sorry, try this template, just remember to add the at the beginning and |at the beginning and at the end.

Era: Templars

Hey there, Braig. How are things? Anyways, I've noticed that you have applied the Era template on Timeline articles, like the Liberation of Rome and the Siege of Viana. That's good, but what I don't get, is you applying the Templar category on a Timeline article. Was this, by chance, an accident? We only use that category for Templars, and allies of the Templars. Well, if what you said was the way to go, then we should also apply the Assassin Era as well, seeing as they too, play a significant part in the timeline :P Yes, there is a problem. If we add those categories, they will be categorized under Templars/Assassins. Those categories are only used for major Templar/Assassin figures, factions, associates, and all others. Stamping then on an event article would be rather out of place. So, that's that. Only the game templates should be put on their respective timeline article. Alright? IRC Re-register

IRC no longer set to Invite only.

It seems when you tried opping TheGreenLion, you accidently set modes +iTG with it. Luckily, I woke up early enough and forced myself back in and was able to remove the modes. We need to get TheGreenLion to register on RC the next time he connects, and if he doesn't know how I'm sure Assasin-Rayne or myself, or someone else who has done the process before can help him. That way services can op him when he identifies to his name, and we don't have more issues like this. :)

Multiplayer Weapons

I don't see why the Switchblade is allowed to have a Trivia page of its own, and yet all the other multiplayer weapons don't.

Better yet, why is there not a Trivia page at the very end of the page, instead of bundling it in along with one weapon.

The other ones have points in them that can be considered trivia, but they aren't displayed as it.

1Q: The other weapons can have a trivia section if needed.

2Q: I'm not sure, I didn't create the page, nor have I even read it, as I don't have Live, so it's redundant to me.

3Q: If you want to go ahead and add those trivia points, nobody is stopping you.

Pistol page.

Hi, I was the anonymous that edited the "accuracy" bit in the"pistol" page, sorry if it was a bit rude or something but I am not so experienced with wikis and wikipedia ... etc, I just wanted to edit the part of the pistol of it being accurate even though the barrel is short and all this physics stuff, so I had an idea that this might be because of the fact that Altair used the apple of eden's "supernatural" powers to give the firearm the accuracy it has even when it is contradicting the laws of physics, if you know what I mean .. Righto. It wasn't rude, I don't know why you would think that. If you read the edit summary, I simply said "assumption". Basically, as you said "I had an idea", it's your opinion, not a fact, so it isn't allowed on pages by wiki policy. That's what an article's Talk Page is for, ideas, opinions, and speculation of all sorts, its just not allowed on the actual article. Yep, it does clear things .. but maybe if it is wrote in a way that implies that it has never been proven, like a suggestion, I have seen a lot of things in wikis that do it this way "it is suggested that (sentence) but it has never been proven". I haven't read the policies yet, so I am not really sure about this, also i do not intend to become a wiki "editor" so to speak, I am just trying to clear out some simple things. Thanks for help :). Aah... huh. Well I have a few tips. Firstly, dial down the whole "real life Assassin" demeanour. We're just people who are fans of the Assassin's Creed series; don't over-dramatize it. Secondly, if you want to have any chance of success at the Apprentice Program and then Staff, you should learn how to give talkpage messages their own header, instead of continuing on from an old topic. As well as that, remember to always sign your posts. There is a notification telling you how to do it while you're typing out your message; it's with four tides (~~~~) or by pressing the signature button. That's really simple stuff which a potential Apprentice should know before expressing any sort of interest in joining the Staff. But getting to the important stuff, here are the pages you want to read: Apprentices and Istruttori. Make sure to read each of the tabs lined across the top, and very carefully read and understand the rules. Yes, it was called for, otherwise I wouldn't have said it. He had frustrated many of the Staff members and was showing no sign of changing. It's all well and good to play nice like the other Staff did but it wasn't going to make any difference to his attitude. Firstly, could you have had the same effect without being so unpleasant, and would doing so have helped the atmosphere of this wiki and so the long-term health of the community? For example, could it have also have been influenced by advice given off-wiki in a more constructive way (say, by Wikia staff on the Community Central wiki). Oh wow, I've attracted the attention of Wikia Staff. So yeah, I could've been more polite and friendly in my approach towards this problem; but I didn't want to. Fact is, I and many of the other Staff here had been irritated by Zeph's behaviour and despite all the positive messages from the others he was showing no sign of change, so I dealt with it in my own style. That particular sentence which you all seem to have a problem with was necessary to make him realise just how serious I was. Zeph, I said no one will care if you leave or stay here and improve. First of all, I haven't deleted them, I don't have that power. Once an Admin sees them they will be deleted. Secondly, my reasons for why they're tagged for deletion was given: Duplicate. This means that it's an inferior copy of a page that already exist. I don't see how you can even be asking this question, you've edited one of the proper copies; Jabal is the Rafiq of Acre, so you should know why they're up for deletion.
