Re: merge

Unlike with Jupiter/Zeus, Minerva/Athena, Juno/Hera, we have no confirmation in canon that Poseidon and Neptune are one and the same.Sadelyrate (siniath) 06:37, January 16, 2019 (UTC)

Agreed. Poseidon and Neptune are counterpart gods... they're equivalent to one another, but they're not the same individual. --Jasca Ducato (talk | contributions) 09:46, January 16, 2019 (UTC)

Mabye i'm not understanding correctly, but If they're not the same person, or at least, we don't have confirmation that they're the same individual, shouldn't we keep them split instead of merging them? I believe the inclusion of the tag was based on the beliefs Isu were known by various names (shown in the case of Minerva/Athena, Juno/Hera and Jupiter/Zeus). However, given what we have seen with Hades and Aita, it seems to not always be the case. The tag should be removed for now, unless we get any further info.
