Talk:Mercenary
Mercs as distraction rather than damage dealers[edit source]
I'm not sure how well known this AC2 trick is, but if you order your mercenaries to attack without being noticed by guards, it is possible to take out dozens of guards with low profile hidden blade kills. While enemies are focused on your mercs, get behind them and execute with the hidden blade. This can be repeated many times over. Even if the guards are able to counter your attack, their attention is often immediately turned back to a mercenary. I used this strategy to take out 20+ guards without taking any damage on the second to last assassination mission in Venice (The target is a brute surrounded by other brutes). I did lose one merc.--CasualGamer 00:59, December 17, 2010 (UTC)

Yay[edit source]
Agreed - don't see a good enough reason to warrant a separate page for Colonial mercenaries. ~ GI Auditore Comms Channel 08:33, June 23, 2013 (UTC)Merge supported. - Wasn't this brought up two months ago on the talk-page for Colonial Mercenaries? Can't we just merge the pages now? --Crimson Knight Intercom 13:40, June 27, 2013 (UTC)
- I'm going to go ahead and merge the articles, since what Crimson says is indeed true. This was discussed and approved in May. --Jasca Ducato Council Chamber Assassination record 18:04, June 27, 2013 (UTC)
