'''Wang Zhongsi''' (王忠嗣; c. 704 – c. 748), born '''Wang Xun''' (王訓), was a [[Tang dynasty|Tang]] ''[[jiedushi]]'' and politician who served during the reign of [[Li Longji|Emperor Xuanzong]].

At a young age, Wang Zhongsi was taken in by the Emperor following his father's death, growing up alongside the Emperor's son, the Crown Prince [[Li Heng]]. As such, he was a close friend of the prince and often spent time at his mansion.<ref name="Wiki">{{WP|Wang Zhongsi}}</ref> Some years later as a military governor, Wang Zhongsi was served by [[Geshu Han]], who later became a powerful general late in Emperor Xuanzong's reign.<ref name="ACD">''[[Assassin's Creed: Dynasty]]'' – [[The Hidden Ones (Part 5)]]</ref>

In 757, at [[Mawei Station]], during [[Yang Guozhong]]'s conversation with Imperial Censor [[Wei Fangjin]], Wang Zhongsi's name was brought up as the [[Golden Turtles]] sought to blame Geshu Han's [[Defence of Tong Pass|defeat]] at [[Tong Pass]] on the Crown Prince, framing him as a conspirator with [[An Lushan]] for their failures.<ref name="ACD" />
