The '''Vault of Odysseus''' was a hidden complex beneath the [[Grand Temple of Apollo]] in the [[Sanctuary of Apollo]] in [[Delos]], [[Greece]]. The chamber was used to store [[Odysseus]]' mythical [[Odysseus' Bow|bow]], being eventually regarded in as a legend by the local population by the later half of the [[Peloponnesian War]].

Milennia later, in 405 BCE, the [[Sparta]]n ''[[Mercenary|misthios]]'' [[Kassandra]] was asked by her friend [[Odessa]], who claimed descent from the ancient hero himself, to find the vault's location and recover the bow. According to [[Kastor]], a Spartan official, the place was regarded as nothing more than a legend, to which Odessa replied that it indeed existed and that to open it, it was required that the four statues of Apollo inside his temple, adorned with wreaths, bows and lyres, matched one another. Odessa then provided her with the missing lyre and told her that the remaining artifacts were sealed away inside the island's [[Treasuries, Delos|treasuries]].<ref name="HuntingBow"/>

In order to open the vault, Kassandra acquired the bow and the lyre from the treasuries and placed them on the statues inside the temple, dicovering the vault could be accessed by a hidden staircase undeground on the main hall. The mercenary proceeded to explore the complex, finding the relic and using its power to bypass the tomb's traps, and exit the structure unscathed.<ref name="HuntingBow"/>
