In 1582, the [[Iga]] ''[[Ninja|kunoichi]]'' [[Fujibayashi Naoe]] and [[samurai]] [[Yasuke]] visited Shiotsu during their investigation into the whereabouts of [[Shinbakufu]] member, [[Oichi|The Wheel]]. Using the town's [[Shiotsu Shrine|shrine]] as a rendezvous point, the two led their own investigation to obtain information. While Naoe infiltrated the local [[Riverside Hatago|inn]], Yasuke investigated the barge.
