==History==
On 30 September 1581, as part of [[Oda Nobunaga]]'s conquest of Iga, Mibuno Castle was the site of a fierce battle between Nobunaga's forces and the Iga [[Ninja|shinobi]]. [[Yasuke]], a retainer of Nobunaga, led an assault on the castle in order to locate and defeat the shinobi leader [[Momochi Sandayu]]. After arriving at the inner courtyard and finding no one,<ref name="Spirit of a Warrior">''[[Assassin's Creed: Shadows]]'' – [[Spirit of a Warrior]]</ref> Nobunaga was about to declare victory before he and Yasuke were confronted by Sandayu. Despite the shinobi's expertise and skills, Yasuke defeated him in battle and was about to deliver the final blow when the former revealed the [[Hidden Blade]] in his left arm.
